Your Band Is A Business

You're starting this band and all the pieces are falling into place. The bass player has a PA, the drummer has a van, the singer has a microphone, all you guys need are some gigs. So what are you going to do with all that money you rake in? Well, before you start counting up your supplimental gear(or beer) budget, you may want to consider the costs of running this band and where those funds will come from. After all, if you are planning on making money, then you are not just making music, you are running a business.
